以往，人们总是会在游泳池里发现死去的青蛙，而FrogLog能够简单高效地帮助青蛙、花栗鼠、蜥蜴等动物爬出游泳池，以保证游泳池的清洁，减少游泳池的维护成本。该项发明由野生动物生物学家里奇·梅森(Rich Mason)发明，并于2005年公开出售。如今，FrogLog在游泳池拥有者当中已经成为一项受欢迎的产品，这也导致在部分电商平台出现了许多廉价仿制品。
